This is a tiny town of some 2-3000 people with one main road that crosses it north/south, and very limited and tortuous routes through otherwise.
WHY have fire and ambulance services from towns and cities as much as 30 miles away chosen to close down Main Street here for a Columbus Day parade? We don't even have sidewalks for people to watch from.
Also, hey, that flag is way too big for that flagpole. There are rules.

One cannot choose to live in "the town where half the state doesn't go for a parade" if this is not that place. I've no problem with the town, just with everyone else deciding they'd come here this year. Moving on account of one parade would be... really stupid.

I'd only really be mad if my towns tax dollars had to pay the fees associated with the others trip thru my town.
Then I'd bitch about the noise at 8AM on a weekend morn.
