Watched Morning Express with Robin Meade (Mmmmmm... Sorry, lost track of my thoughts for a minute) and they played the damn video like 15 times OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER IN SLOW MOTION...

She could tell me the world was ending in 30 minutes and I'd still smile.

Is... what? Oh, you consider "the world ending" a bad thing. Right. Carry on.

All the planning charts and demolition orders have been on display in your local planning department in Alpha Centauri for 50 of your Earth years, and so you've had plenty of time to lodge any complaints and it's far too late to make a fuss about it now!

The last encounter I had with a deer on the road went something like this....
I'm coming around the bend, over to the right is a doe just on this side of the ditch. I start to slow down, get closer, the deer isn't moving, I slow down even more... Then she starts to cross the road. As I'm still moving -by this moment she is in front of me, running away straight ahead, I'm honking my horn. The idiot stays in front of me for a good 25 feet +/-. Then she gets over to the other side.

I'm not sure I follow. Could you step-by-step your answer for us simpletons in the audience?
Or does your anger toward life tie into everyone else somehow?

Follow? OK.
Who will remain to mourn the passing, when none remain? What will those gone be missing when they either cease entirely their existence, or pass on to what awaits them in the afterlife? Depending on a persons' beliefs, they'll either not exist to feel a loss, or have everything they could want need, or deserve. “We come from nothing, we are going back to nothing-In the end what have we lost? Nothing!” Nothing to see here, move along.
You're gone. Your spouse is gone. Your children are gone. Your neighbors and relatives are gone. Houses, cars, motorcycles, movies, games, television programs, governments, taxes, weather, and the mouse that got into your house last night. Everything that is the world is the world, and having ended, is ended. Nothing matters, as there is nothing for it to matter to. As long as all known life is in the world, and nothing outside the world knows of that life, there is ultimately no consequence to the cessation of Earth's existence.

I have thirty minutes to feel shitty about the situation. If the news came from her those thirty minutes might not be as shitty, because boobs.

Ever the optimist...
I'm not saying I wouldn't otherwise enjoy my last 30 minutes alive, but to not feel horrible for all the experiences you, your wife, your kids, etc will no longer share....you'd have to be a soulless bast not to feel that pain.

They won't miss anything, you won't miss anything. You've all reached the end together, survived to the final curtain. There's no you or they beyond. You'll be no more a thing than the characters in a book you haven't read. Oh, now wait, that line was a bit sad. Those poor unread books.
...Unless you believe your consciousness goes on. In which case you likely believe those consciousnesses go somewhere.
For instance, in the US you might believe you all go live together forever in a place where they've inexplicably chosen to pave the clouds with metal.
