So a buddy of mine rebuilt a sega super deluxe Galaxy Force (moving cockpit). The night before it was to be shipped to a museum, he put the finishing touches on it, hooked up some PA speakers and amp, turned off the lights and we played the hell out of it. I took some video of my buddy karl giving it a "spin":
On the red panels it says "Version II" - I don't think I've ever seen a GF1, they probably never shipped to the United States. I wonder if Sega Japan has a museum of their own titles, all in playable, operating condition.
Ideally it needs the title screen checked because when they upgraded them to II the art was changed and it looks like GF1 art in the video from what I can tell. Version 2 on the cab could mean cab version or whatever. Doubt it but maybe.
