Hey guys,
Anybody know if Doug Good (author of MCM) is going to be making any modifications to MCM to support the .7z format? For those that use it, MCM will only recognize .zip format.
Thanks, Jason

I'm afraid you need to contact the author of any application that doesn't support .7z if one insists on that format... unfortunately, a lot of utilities that have historically worked fine with .zip will not work with .7z and it is generally not a trivial thing to add support for.
Your application specifically looks pretty dead, being that it's been nearly 8 years since his last "2.0 final" release. He does have an email in his documentation you could try but with no published source, you may be out of luck.

Well, I sent Doug an email to see if this will support .7z. Too bad if it doesn't end up working out. MCM is a great filtering solution. I'll provide an update if I hear anything back.
Thanks, Jason

Heard back from Doug...here's what he had to say. Anybody interested in picking it up?
"If there’s a Delphi programmer out there who wants to pick up the project I’ll see if I can dig up the source code and pass it on, but it’s not something I’m going to have time to update."

Doug could release the source code and Delphi components used in the project in his website, maybe ? or send them to my e-mail: [email protected]
I could take a look at it, but I don't promise anything.
I tested the program, but without the source code, there's little I can figure out how it works internally, specially with zipped images. But, I assume it only uses catlist.ini to get the game names to list them, and it searches for "gamename.zip" to rename/delete them. Same goes for snapshots. Again, I assume it would be quite easy to add support for "gamename.7z" searches.
.... You can delete multiple games at once with Emu Loader, using catver.ini, but no 7zip support. I'm studying ways to add 7zip into EL, but it's not that easy and it will require A LOT of work.
