This video is a little rough so be nice. It's cool to see the actual game play in action, sometimes up close. You don't need to understand the Japanese narrative to get it. Special thanks to Bochake for sharing. http://miterew.com/movie/play/sm7817061

Maybe some day... however they're incredibly complex discrete logic games, so speed will probably be incredibly slow. Also, lots of incredibly rare artwork would need scanned.
That said, there's collectors in Europe who have got their hands on:
> Really cool. Thanks for that, Dan. > > The screen says "Vol.1". Would you know if there are other volumes available at that > place? > > It would be nice if it could be downloaded too...
Volume 2 is apparently about Namco.
"A Laserdisc released by Scitron/Pony Canyon showcasing Namco titles from 1978 to 1985. Recorded from PCLP-00170 History of Video Games Volume II: Namco 1 & 2, Pioneer CLD-V2600 Laserdisc player, Immersive Holo3dgraph PCI Video Scaler/Processor."

Too bad the second volume of Taito games wasn't uploaded. Going by links, it looks as if the videos were made in late 1980s or early 1990s when the publisher released the show in 1991 or 1992.
One can see some subtle, visual differences between the Midway version of Wheels and Taito version (Speed Race) of a similar game. It's one thing if the 1970s Taito games don't use roms, but if any do, then it would require finding specific rom based pcb games and cross fingers that the roms are still readable.
I do like Taito Interceptor. It reminds me of Chicago Coings EM hardware early 1970s classic Flying Tiger which was a very good game itself.
Trivia Speed race, Western gun, Interceptor, Space Invaders and Lunar Rescue were all made by the same author, Tomohiro Nishikado of Taito.
Tomohiro made two electromechanical machine at Taito. Super Road 7 (1970) and Sky fighter II (1971). He then made them into video games afterwards. Super Road 7 became Speed Race. Sky Fighter II became Interceptor.
Taito partnered with Midway in those days. Midway added a shift lever and the timer to Speed Race. The next year, Taito added these new features to Speed Race and released it as Speed Race DX (1975).
Tomohiro was inspired by the electromechanical game Gunfight (1970) from Sega, to make Western Gun (1975). Midway (Nutting) remade it in the name of the Gunfight (1975).
