The return of Bekki made me think about this:

God is many things to many people.
Out of curiosity, I wonder what the consensus is here? If you do comment please keep it under control!

I think "Arab American Democrat" should keep her head shaking to herself if she can't be bothered saying "no" aloud when the question is asked.
Also, I think a cotter pin is not a "mechanism" and should not be described as such on whatever program just ended on Sci.

My head is simply shaking about published unfounded assumptions. After all, atheists who get upset at the mention of "god" is something that dumfounds me for "god" doesn't exist, eh? Much less attempting to make "Democrat" synonymous with "atheist".
I think fundie atheists and fundie religionistas should get together. 'cause it's the fundamentalism that binds them together and turns me off. They can all get along only if they see how they drive others away.
But then they're all fundies who are all blind. Fat chance of that attempt of insight healing their eyes happening. ;-)
I'd like to believe I'm tempered in my beliefs. But only if people meet up with me in real life. Something gets lost in these typed-up missives.
