LOOOONG Refresh time.

Anyone else getting extremely long refresh times when running Mame146?
I'm running it off an Asus G74S laptop which is a beast of a notebook, I even installed MAME on my SSD and it still takes close to 20 minutes when I F5 and I only got like 3 roms.
Is this a common issue or is there something wrong?

PS, I did try searching all previous threads on this topic but I could not really find anything.

You're running MAMEUI not MAME, it's an important distinction to make. MAMEUI has its own forum, the bottom one in the list up left.

Unfortunately it's that slow for everybody.

Well at least its not a hardware issue on my end. Sucks that the somewhat QUICK refreshing is gone though.

Don't use F5 audit. Just do 'audit all games'. My computer doesn't take 20 minutes to do that.

Tried the Audit all it, took around the same time if not just a bit quicker. Still it was over 10 minutes.
Maybe this is just an issue with the Latest Version of MAME.

You are using MAMEUI. Baseline MAME is also slow auditing from the command line. MAMEUI should consider not doing a full audit and just build the gamelist based on what ROM files exist in the roms folder. People can use clrmame (or other) to audit.
