The hyperspeed is part of the thrill!

Someone should tell Ville to implement this "hyperspeed" thing in Naomi/Atomiswave driver

Everyone chooses the bus. They had TD at CAX and Aaron played with the bus

Heh, speaking of which, does anyone know if R.Belmont has had some time over to work on his SH4 dynamic recompiler?

Also great seeing Ville has been bit by the emulation bug again!

Fun part is that the real game crawls. Looked horribly under-powered.

That's interesting. There was a TD at CAX this year and it was smooth, although the draw-in was quite severe in spots. I even shot video of an attract loop in case we need it, although graphically Ville's video seems to have everything right.

Could have been an issue with the board at the arcade I saw it at. I don't think the arcade exists anymore so I won't be able to check, but it looked like it was running at 20-30fps. A hardware problem may have been the cause, who knows.

I think the game logic is tightly coupled with the network code, so a faulty network board could easily cause the problem (and also MAME's hyperspeed issue).

I kind of figured the hyperspeed might be network related, although the network code I've worked on only allows the game to run slower than VBL, not faster
