MAWS replacement?

I am, at this point, rather sorely missing MAWS.
Since it seems like it won't ever be resurrected, what can be done?
- make ProgettoEmma more like MAWS? It will need an alternative English translation, import of MASH's PCBInfos, not sure what else - anyone remember features that MAWS had that ProgettoEmma does not?
- resurrect the content of MAWS on another site by acquiring it from cutebutwrong?
- something else?
Starting to get desperate over here

I've gotten by without it, although it is missed. I sometimes get the desire to make a local (not online) MAWS-style utility which would suit most peoples' needs. Then, I get busy doing other project related duties and my time and desire quickly enter the shadows again.
Basically, if you get a local copy of the PCBinfo package (google search) and M.A.S.H's mameinfo.dat which is always updated as well as the history.dat which is updated periodically, you'll have much of what made MAWS what it was.

It's coming back one way or another, just a matter of time and it won't be hosted here. It may even come back in more than one site/format/resurrection/whatever.

Italian's not a hard language to learn, ya know.

English is proving to be more of a bear for me than Italian...and English is my first language.

Like the Vatican Knight Dude?

I’m convinced Mario is a hobo.
He wakes up everyday in the same clothes, runs around in sewers, and collects coins for a living.
At the end of the day, he uses the coins to buy mushrooms

Yet your nick is Italie, which is French for Italy.
Kinda ironic if you ask me.

It shouldn't be too hard to code. I'm writing a frontend that already parses the full list xml, mameinfo.dat, history.dat and catver.ini. It should just be a case of writing a UI to show the info.
It just depends on what info you guys want to see and how you want to see it.

We have the database in-tact, but the site itself has a possible vulnerability that hasn't been identified yet. It's entirely possible the attack that brought it down was unrelated and there is nothing wrong with the code, but that isn't a chance we can take on the MW host.
If anyone wants to go over the code and gets CBW's blessing, I can provide what they need. Short of that, it's on my black hole of a to-do list.
