quizard games broken in 146u4?

They are marked working in mame146u4 but now shows that they are not working when you load the game. They worked in mame146u3

They only boot up to the Philips CDI menu in all versions of 146 and are marked Overall: NOT WORKING in all 146 versions as well.

weird because I was playing them in mame146u3 and why are they marked working in mameui64 and also on my mala list where I only have working games in my list?
edit: my fault I have been helping circo on emumovies updating his snap videos for mame and might of gotten the game confused with another but still why are they in working games if not working?

Must be some sort of mistake on those unsupported, unofficial softwares is my guess on it.
I get the exact same result here using all versions of 146.
Selecting Play CD-I on the menu presents a blue screen that just sits there with MAME still running and being completely functional.
I kinda have my doubts you played this game on u3 unless I'm not doing something correctly here.

These games haven't worked for quite a few months now and they crashed for a time as well near the end of the 0.145 dev cycle. There is a regression towards the beginning of the year which makes these game non-booting past the intro screen. I could have sworn it was addressed before but it seems like it has not. The last "working" version is 0.144u6, so it could not have worked on 0.146u3 unless you have mystical voodoo powers 
I'll do more research on it.

Yes I made a mistake I tried mame146u3 and still same thing. I just been all over trying to help circo to update and fix broken snap videos for emumovies for mame 146 and also the u builds. He was at California Extreme this past week and told him to grab the crazy otto board.

Well, the reports are useful. It's impossible to check every set every release in full or more in-depth tests like you seem to be doing. Thanks.

No problem the only way I catch these are we are trying to update the snap videos. Just trying to help in other ways towards mame since I'm a noob at programming.
