Thx to still be there...
If I had a few suggestions, well in fact just one...: Windows XP icons, and real alpha transparency, are still not well implemented, as in MAMEUI, unluckily... I think it's not your fault or jhonIV's but to the component used to display icons which is as old as MAMEUI birth... still no updates or any other better and newer listing component you could give a try...?
Anyway, thx for your build, again, love it.

I already looked at this issue when I tried to create a toolbar with alpha transparencies. Looks like it's a Windows API limitation/bug and a different approach should be taken. Now I'm away from home for a small holiday so I don't want to think to MAME/MAMEUI/MAMEUIFX...
Though it's on my to-do list for the near future.
If I may ask, why don't you design a fantastic FX splash screen for me?  (24 BPP bitmap without transparencies due to the bug mentioned above....)

No No No if you're able to create two separate threads, one for the splash screen which is performed during the main program initialization and destroyed after the main Window is displayed.
