I live just outside of Belo Horizonte city center..about 550 km from Uberlandia, same distance as Rio I think.
Feel free to stop by, we have a spare room with separate entrance and space to sleep if you'd like to stay for a couple of days.

No Flash in iOS, so no inline Youtube videos. If you click the placeholder, your YouTube app should launch and play the video.
Those people are doing things I don't like. They should die in various ways that would be pleasing to me. That would straighten everything out that's wrong with this country.

The last few days were a whirl wind of activity since we celebrated my 3-year old's birthday before we left... and I'm sure you know how big birthdays are down there. But Gatinha and I would love to come to B.Horizonte next visit for sure. I don't know if you have kids or not, but I'll be with family in tow... not sure you knew that when you offered up your house But too late to retract that offer now... be sure and scotch guard your carpets
