DICE is one excellent emulator. Will his work help the emulation of discrete logic games in MAME?

It's entirely possible

Quick question.
In the discrete circuitry games, how much of it might be able to be plugged into multiple games? Or a least modified half way easily to another? Probably none is my guess.

Pessimist: Oh, this can't get any worse!
Optimist: Yes, it can!

Well, a lot of the non-CPU games used the same TTL chips, so you could re-use the implementation of those, at least. I'm interested to see if MAME goes the route of getting a list of chips and connections as input and emulating it from that. In any case, looking forward to the new DICE release. Hopefully there have been some speed improvements so I can get more than a few frames a second.
