I am not very familiar with retro consoles but just the eBay auction description itself is very impressive to say the least. I wonder how much effort went into gathering this collection and how much "profit" was made (999,999 Euros minus their cost) and what that works out to hourly.

I also wonder what the logistics are for exchanging 999,999 Euros on eBay. You must have to use an escrow service, I can't see any other way.

He owned / ran a game shop in Paris, so it's been in his blood for a while. Decades of collecting and searching.
