Trying to remember a game using ST Genesis Project video...
#290301 - 06/27/12 12:14 AM

Hi All,

I remember playing a game in the early 80's that had a combination of video sprites and video footage of a model of canyons, etc... It may have even had some video from (or similar to) Star Trek II, The Wrath of Khan from the Genesis Project files. The footage shows a flyby over a dead planet with a "wave" of energy overtaking it and leaving lush greenery in its wake.

The only part of the game I remember clearly is flying a "sprite" ship through a live action video of a model of a canyon. You had to make turns or crash into the canyon walls. It was difficult to judge when you needed to turn. It was similar to operating Dirk in Dragon's Lair in that you had to make the correct move at the correct time except the video was "live action" instead of a cartoon. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Exactly right

You can also see that game and many others watching Starcade streams.
