When I saw this thread, my first thought was : Finally Last Hope !... ...then I see these 2 AES games (released last year in USA) and now I think : This ain't gonna happen in MAME.

Bang Bang Busters is a true prototype acquired from VISCO by NCI. It is the 2000 version as well and the game is 100% complete (the 1994 version was a location test. Game was complete and ready to be released but it has never happened).

It's a fake title screen and those are blurry magazine scans. If a proto cart existed, someone would have bragged about owning it by now.

I have such a sad story about Neo*Geo. I worked in the US office many years ago. They had a warehouse full of boxes containing protoype PCB's of both systems and games. When they shut down the US office they just pilled everything into large dumpsters. Gone forever

... I didn't say that.
I said the title screen was made up by the guy who owns that site. A lot of his other pages have the same kind of title screens.
I dunno if the game pictures are legit or not. I would've loved to kick Terry's ass with Ryo in the Garou series, but sadly that won't happen ever.

kitsune sniper is right...title screen is not legit (as many title screenshots on this site as no official title screenshots for those prototypes are available), just home made.
Now for in game pictures, for sure they are scans which come from a magazine...But honnestly it is really hard to tell if they are really legit or not. Only SNK/Playmore will tell...

What landfill did that stuff go to?
The sheer value of that stuff could pay for the cost of excavating it out of a 300 foot tall pile of 15 year old rotten food, rusty washing machines and baby diapers.
