That's the usual layout of a laundromat. Washers in the middle area in rows, dryers along the outer edges/along the walls.
It had to be a washer, but it's strange that it started so quick. Usually it takes time for it to fill up with some water before it starts rotating. But it locked. There's no reason for a dryer to lock.

How is it exactly tat that is funny in ANY way, shape, or form? Seriously, I don't think I could have any reaction other than outright rage that those two were allowed to breed.
Also, how is it that neither parent attempted to pull a damned power chord, or even bothered to looked for one?

Yeah, that's definitely a heavy-duty washer, I used one a few weeks ago to wash a couch cover. I think they usually start agitating right away as they fill with water, which is why the kid started tumbling. Weird that it locked and started up as soon as he closed the door, though. Someone must have had money in it and a cycle already selected.
The sad part is, those people will probably try to sue the laundromat.

Those machines are generally not accessible at all from the back, at least not without access to the service panel. I think running for the attendant was the right idea. Of course, not putting your damned kid in the washer was a better one.

I just don't see how someone doesn't even try. Cord is in the back. If it's bolted to the wall, surely that little cubby wasn't too terribly hard to identify?
Send the wife/GF/baby-mama for the attendant while you keep trying?
At least move the tables out of the way and look at the back of the machine for a chord?
Maybe not run off with the farking kid immediately after the rescue in case his back is fractured?
Just retardation abundant in that video. Makes me stabby.

I agree.

Because they are dumb @#$%!^&* If they were that irresponsible and stupid to put their kid in there, they probably didn't have the common sense to try or think to pull the chord.

I wouldn't be at all suprised. Did you see how as soon as they got the kid out, they ran out of the place? They probably didn't want to get in trouble with the police and have their kid taken away from them. But if the police winds up tracking them down and finds out who they are and they get arrested, then that's when I can definitely see them trying to sue.

God I love contraltos. Especially if they's white. Not with that kind of nose, though.
Consider it high comedy....sincere tragedy....whatever...don't take it personally.

Pretty sure this would have helped. If it can align the planets in that bill 'n ted movie, it should be able to stop a washing machine.
If that didn't work, we could always use Gene's tongue to jimmy open the door.

Um, I stopped worrying about people a while a go. I care about them, I just don't care *for* them.
