babalities turn your opponent into a baby. I think it was meant to shame your opponent in an arcade room. It's been a long while so I forget which is which between friendships and babalities. One, you need a flawless victory to perform, the other you must win using only the low kick button. Either way, you really sucked if someone pulled it off on you

Sure after MK2 it got silly and stupid, but MK9 or MK2011 whatever you wish to call it brought the franchise back to the spotlight, and without friendships and that nonsense.Somehow babalities managed to sneak their way in but since you can turn Shao Kahn,Goro & Kintaro into babies, its worth it.

Really never played more than... whatever was in mame a long time ago, and not much then, as it ran slowly.
Also, never played Mass Effect because EA.

Yes I too didnt really want to support EA,but I did want to support Bioware,so i ended up grabbing 1 & 2 from Steam, and 3 I got the digital deluxe edition on sale @ Amazon.
It really is a fantastic trilogy, especially 3,they did such a great job conveying the feeling of hopelessness to the player,as you go from planet to planet and see the enemy just decimating everything in sight, and you are like I have to stop this?!

I forget whom I was playing. They did the Friendship thing. I thought it was cute. They didn't mention the baby one, though.
