Are you sure the update is being applied correctly, and it's not just trying (and failing) to apply the same update every day? I see Flash updates maybe once a month or less. I also don't recall having to reboot after they are applied.

Disable automatic updates and never be bothered again.
$30 for a flash player with a constant fucking update cycle requiring reboots ...and you can't even decrease the click-count per update by five clicks?
