I remember hearing somewhere that urine does contain electrolytes. And the first thing I thought of when I seen in that vid of what they were doing was some (perhaps) English(?) king... He (or they?) consumed something where one of the ingredients was kid piss. :-x
I can't google it (I try, but get nothing), but I also recall they put bits of gold foil in some kind of drink.

The pro boxer Juan Manuel Marquez drinks his own urine when in training for a fight,for the electrolytes it contains ( and also some nonsense about the magical properties of drinking ones own urine)

I know that Goldschläger has gold leaf floating within it. I had it decades ago. Very tasty cinnamon schnapps. :-)
