the best version is the SNES Prince of Persia.
The DOS version is quite good. It's the reason why my 486SX is working. Nice oldskool gaming. :-)

Have you tried DOSBox? http://www.dosbox.com/
Plays nearly every DOS game, some titles require more config tweaking than others - depending on your perferences. But really it is not difficult to use at all. POP and nearly every title I own from the 80's and early to mid-90's works without a problem all under an i7 with Windows 7 64-bit.
Graphic filters including TV-Mode and many others make the games look great on a modern display.

DOSBOX is great. I love it and how you can use it for games you "legally" own.
I also like how Good ole Games makes good use of it.

GOG... is not "Good old Games" any more.

They keep getting more stuff, both old and new.
I for one would like other "new" stuff that is DRM free.
I buy from them anyways because of the DRM free stuff.
I might get The Witcher 2 from them down the line and it isn't old.
BTW, free Fallout for 48 hours.

I never played "Fallout" before. Plus I own a LOT of their titles on good ol' CD-ROM from my days of rummaging through the bargain bins at the old Electronics Boutique and OnCue.
The latter I really miss. I got a LOT of fully registered Apogee titles for $2.99 per pressed silvery CD-ROM (by FormGen, of course). I even have a small CaseLogic zippable CD wallet that contains them because they are so precious.
Good stuff...good stuff...
