My two favorite project games, Battlezone, and Tribes, had TONS of abandoned code and stuff in them... none of which is listed on that site yet.

If I had time, I'd dig up my old files and add the lost codes to the website... but I don't.

Battlezone had things like cafeterias, which were meant to improve your soldiers and pilots, and also had unused vehicles.

Their only example for Tribes is the "DaJackle" code, which doesn't fit their criteria of "unearthing and researching unused and cut content" since that was actively functional code... if you actually tried to connect with a pirated "DaJackle" copy of the game, that working code would kick and ban you.

Tribes was chock full of unused and cut building, weapons, skins, and half-developed game code that just never got used and that never made it to the real game (until I fixed alot of it for my build of it . The only example I have to show you is the screenshot below of "bigun" as they called it, an unfinished weapon in the original game's code. I fixed the code, which was originally designed to be a fixed-in-place turret players could man, and I added it to the Heavy Personnel Carrier as a door-gun.

Thanks a lot for the indication. That's a very, very interesting database to explore...

Very cool, and thanks for that. I'm surprised that the unused topless GFX from Midway's 'Sarge' didn't make it in.

Because they ARE used with the right dip-switch settings.

Hey thanks. I wasn't sure that page still existed.

Guess I'll add the stuff I found in Sengoku Densyo on the SNES...

A bunch of unused dialogue.

The game normally has an intro, and an ending. But after all that there's a bunch of text that appears to be dialogue. It looks like Japanese sentences, but I don't know much of the language.

I thought it might be dummied out cutscene text, but it doesn't seem to match the arcade cutscenes...

Content doesn't have to be cut to be on the wiki, though that's really the majority of the focus. (See regional differences, which often aren't cut, but just changes.)

Something like that seems like it would fit rather well, actually, especially if it was some undocumented combination that would otherwise act weird.

(In general it's safer to assume that content is missing from the wiki because nobody has added it, rather than it not fitting.)
