I picked up a veiwsonic veiwbook 730 when they went on sale for $120, not a bad little tablet for the price and seems to have comprable specs. No multitouch is the only drawback, but the wife uses the hell out of this one for a pdf and ebook reader. Nice storage, decently hackable.

Is that a 7 incher? I have a Nook Color now and PDFs are fine in landscape mode, just have to scroll to read the page. Portrait mode ain't too bad but awful tiny. Comics don't looks so bad though. The Le Pan III just passed FCC approval and has a bit beefier processor. Holding off to see the price.
