Indeed. The game is working properly, using a internal layout. We make the best we can do with the internal basic lay possibilities. Maybe is currently not reflecting the real artwork, but is comparable and playable. Give it a try!...

Hi Robbie, when I launch it with MAME (no artwork), i expected to see at least something as it's not tagged as mechanical, but all I got is a black screen (which seems logical as Video: none).
Pressing F11 crashes MAME... :/
Shouldn't that game be tagged as mechanical...?

works good on mame...?
black screen, I only hear japanese when inserting coins, and it crashes when I press F11 (I always press F11 in front of a black screen to see if MAME is still ok and running...)
Where can I find a preliminary working artwork for it...?

If you have or have compiled a MAME binary from MAME's sources for 0.145u5, it should just work. All the artwork is internal and stored in the binary - no artwork packages needed.
Try the binary posted here:

Damn... I use MAME plus, I tried with MAME (same as above), same result... black screen...
Nothing displaid... not even a digit display or such, just plain black screen...
The game is running as I hear japanese when pressing 5, MAME crashes when pressing F11...
That's the 1st time that something like this happen to me with MAME.. :/
Any other ideas....?

If I press insert to speed up, it crashes too...
mame cmd window displays some values really fast then close...

Try to delete contents of cfg, nvram, diff, etc.
Also maybe run official MAME from a different root path then your MAME plus!
Here it's working fine.

Well... As the others said, please update to u5 and delete the .cfg file.
You can see the internal layout. The game is working.
But... Wait for my 'ultra-deep-anal' external artwork, just based on a 300x400 low-res pic of the machine... :-P

I'm updated to u5 of course :/
will try to delete the .cfg file... k, just done it...
Still exactly the same result.. black screen, and japanese voice when inserting coins
"inser" to speed up crashes MAME and gives values memory like adresses "not found" in cmd window, then crashes. F11 crashes immediatly...
I mean, since the time I'm using MAME, that's the 1st time I have such problems running a particular game... All other games work just fine...
I've redownloaded the rom, same result...
tried with vanilla MAME u5 and mamep u5, same result
Damn, what's wrong...? Really no idea...

Found what was going wrong, but no idea where exactly
just deleted mame.ini, and now it works

Will wait for Roberto final's artwork to create the icon for it...
