Source and binary MESSUI32 and 64 mirrored, as usual, here: progetto-SNAPS MESSUI Page.

Thanks again to Robbbert and redk9258.

In the packages: executables, messinfo.dat, sysinfo.dat and complete HASH folder (for softlists).

since MESSUI has it's own site perhaps only official binaries of MESS should be attached like what is done for MAME during u releases, since users now can't even download an official binary at this point.

Well, it is labeled UI so I don't see the big problem. What happened to mess.org? The "u" releases were available.

With all of the nit picking going on around here, I think I will stop uploading anything and say fuck it!

Now *that* is a Bitch post if I ever saw one

Are you being serious or trolling trying to get a response from SD?

The big problem is people *think* it's official when in reality it's a big patch piece of crap that crashes at will and is on life support.

It was removed from official source for many reasons, so accept it!

Yes, a bitch post.

> Are you being serious or trolling trying to get a response from SD?

I don't need a response from Smitdogg. Maybe YOU are trying to piss him off? Like Smitdogg, I'm tired of people bitching about the releases being fucked up. Both users and devs. Seems like there is always some problem every release... Someone announces it too soon. The source is corrupted then changed without a version change. It doesn't compile correctly and the dev gets pissed because someone posts the problem on a message board instead of a private message and on and on.

Now you come along and bitch about and unofficial MESSUI binary that others seem to enjoy. I've not heard of anyone complain about crashes, etc. Wouldn't they replay to the thread that it was downloaded from? You didn't answer my question, what happened to mess.org? I had no idea mess.org was down. There used to be binaries posted there for each 'u' release. Maybe you could have asked for me to post a standard MESS package like I do for MAME.

Why would someone think it is official when it is attached to a post on a message board? BTW, MAMEWorld.info is NOT the official MAME/MESS message board either.

I don't have any crashes here. Small bugs maybe. That's alright though because the core also has bugs. So big fucking deal. I think MAMEUI and MESSUI still work better than any frontend does. Sorry frontend authors, I haven't found a frontend that I like as well as UI. I don't really care WHY it was removed from MESS. I think Robbbert does a fine job keeping it going.
