file association can still get fucked up in win7 like it could in xp?
what a fucking joke... running through this process does nothing. bsnes won't populate in the default programs. tried clearing the file and reassocating... nothing. here we go hacking the registry again for basic functionality i suppose... HEYSUS

somehow this link got botched... no clue what changed it. i fixed the link back, and now it seems to be working again, but bsnes says 'no cartridge loaded' when it opens after i double-click an .sfc file.
oh well...

Think you need a %1 after the command.
So something Like "D:\[emulation]\bsnes\bsnes.exe" "%1"
Otherwise it will just launch the program.
This is also the spot you would pass in any arguments it would need to launch. Not sure what bsnes's command line args are. I leave that as an exercise for the reader

Not as bad as my friend who tried to open an .lnk file in IE (literally the file, not the link) and screwed up the entire of his work computer's shortcuts for his user account. He changed PC and got around it though
