Just found this. If there's anybody in the area that's interested. I don't have any idea of what can be expected. If someone goes or has gone maybe give us some details. Hope someone has a good time there.

Pessimist: Oh, this can't get any worse!

I'm going Friday. I didn't even realize they were doing it last year, so I don't know any more than what's on the website.

I just got back from the show. There was actually more there than I expected, even though they seemed to have trouble keeping everything running. A few games I played are: Tempest, Dragon's Lair, Crystal Castles, Donkey Kong, Asteroids Deluxe, Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Defender, Gauntlet II, Pole Position II, Black Widow, Offroad Thunder, Super Offroad, Vanguard, Ladybug, Gorf, Peter Pack-rat, Smash TV, Robotron, Commando, Golden Axe. There was a lot of pinball and consoles as well. Worth checking out if anyone can make it.

Sounds like you had fun. At least the weather didn't blow you all away! Snag any pix?

Fortunately, the tornadoes pretty much passed Louisville by. I didn't take a lot of photos, but here's one of the show floor.

Asteroids Deluxe, color vectors, and DL for the win!

Consider it high comedy....sincere tragedy....whatever...don't take it personally.

I believe I see a...
...Midway S.A.M.I. cab there....to the right of the Atari CC game there.
If S.A.M.I. was fully operational there, folks had a chance to enjoy a popular Midway brand EM game from the early 1970s. The game also uses a film reel that plays images of fighter jets flying across the sky scenery as player tries to shoot down a jet. iirc there was a brief clip on Youtube a few years ago.

I don't think I tried S.A.M.I. I need gregf to guide me at these events! Hopefully they'll do it again next year, though. I did try one EM target game, but it's name eludes me. It seemed about as easy to play as a similar videogame would be.
They had some EM pinball as well, like Gigi. Here's a video of that one (not by me):
