One of my early eBay rampages was trying to complete a series of games like that, part of a numbered series called "epoch book games" most were simple wind-up games, but there as also a magnetic chess folded up with drawers for the pieces - they all had cardboard sleeves like a videotape.

...whoa there's #1 "Spinball" on eBay right now for $49...not sure I have that "Drive Technique" one either...

Played similar games, not that one though.

I'm constantly having to talk myself out of collecting these. I'm afraid I'd never get off of the couch again.
