What do you mean? Skyrim has been playable since it was released,(on PC anyway) Now with the 1.4 patch not only has it been optimized, but many, many bugs have been squashed. The game plays wonderfully now (again,on PC) and the one bug that I came across in my 150+ hour game, has just been fixed as well.

Im not sure about the 360 version, but I do know the ps3 version still lags, but the console versions are still on patch 1.3,since it takes 2-4 weeks for MS and Sony to approve the patches.

The Edler Scrolls games (3rd, 4th, and 5th) are ALL on sale.

Morrowind, Oblivion, AND Skyrim.

There's a "Complete" pack for $49.99 as well, but the Oblivion set is NOT the Deluxe set and if you have Oblivion on Steam you can't "upgrade" to the Deluxe set.

There are people trading coupons as well.

What, no backwards-flying dragons, no doppelgangers, no quests that refuse to clear? No floating roadside weaponry, no mammoths falling from the sky, no invisible NPCs? Weapons that won't stay on racks, racks that won't hold weapons, exploding bookcases, quests that come back every time you look at a certain item, bosses that just stand there telling you you can't win, items not staying in place, houses that refuse to decorate properly, doors that don't open when you have the key, wives walking away in the middle of the marriage ceremony, effects that don't actually affect, effects claiming to last for 294,000 seconds, or corpses that can't be looted or fall under the terrain? Just plain crashes?

It's not a bug, it's a feature.

At least that's what EA seems to do with many of their games.

Like I said above, the only bug I encountered on my 150+ hour game was being not able to complete a minor sidequest, which was fixed in the 1.4 patch.

Have you actually played the game and experienced any of these bugs\glitches first hand or are you just reposting what you have read from gaming sites?

$650,000 in less than 24 hours, it's insane.

The "users as investors" model for development is an interesting one, and it has apparently worked so far. It seems like it's just a matter of time before someone flames out spectacularly and ruins the whole thing, though.

OK, I have played it, actually:

I right now have a quest to get a word I had already gotten, so it is stuck there.

I have another quest to get someone in Solitude to go back to temple, which hasn't cleared after completing it.

I have two copies of Red Eagle's sword, plus one of "Red Eagle's Bane," created during the quest, because picking up a book usually means reading it, and reading "The Legend of Red Eagle" repeatedly starts that quest.

There are several ash piles in Markarth that won't go away, as well as the body of the guy from the prison floating in the water.

The woman killed by the butcher in Windhelm is still there, I tossed her body into a corner so people in the market would go about their business.

As a thief I had to try to pickpocket someone; there were two of him standing near Whiterun Stables.

On buying the house in Solitude, I couldn't enter through the patio door until I'd quit and relaunched.

Also in the Solitude home, the 5-place weapon rack would only hold 3 weapons (this is fixed now).

Gauntlets and Boots of the Old Gods, displayed on a mannequin, were only there sometimes.

The Ebony Blade (unique weapon, not "an" ebony blade) has never stayed on a weapon rack or display.

A dragon claw left on a table near my bed jumped to _under_ the table, where I couldn't get it until it eventually jumped to the downstairs.

Items left out for display revert to where they were initially dropped a couple times before remembering the new location, which was a huge pain when I filled a shelf with scrolls.

A steel helmet vanished completely for a few sessions, then appeared on the floor.

It has been very common to see a mace or dagger hanging in the air along a road.

Many weapons displayed "on" racks are rotated the wrong way and hanging in the air.

I married... whatshername, the sister of the Riverwood shopkeeper, and she did indeed walk out after her vow, before I could move. Fortunately, she returned to the temple after a while; others have lost spouses entirely.

My [spoiler redacted] power, which lasts 30 seconds, often says it lasts that 200000+ seconds. It seemed to be chosen for me at the ceremony where I got it, it wasn't the one I wanted; I can at least change that in a day.

I've had untextured bears and trees, corpses that were only lootable after I'd "waited" for an hour, dialogue lines popping up that were definitely not being said.

On my way to Ysgramor, I decided to stick with the three NPCs that went with me. One fell way behind, only catching up when we had a big battle along the way, and all three (along with my clairvoyance spell) got stuck going back and forth along a short section of road and around the side of a mountain, until I gave up and walked toward the quest marker.

One of the first bandit leaders I killed just stood there while Lydia and I shot him for what was way too long a time.

Lydia was a PITA, sitting and standing and sitting and standing and sitting and standing in my bedroom, so much so that I eventually sacrificed her to Boethiah.

They did get rid of the other three quests/items that were stuck in my journal and inventory, from the Bards College.

The Saarthal amulet/door crashed the game repeatedly when I tried to open the passage, until I eventually found a position and/or spell that didn't crash it.

I had enough crashes that I started quicksaving before and after any door, room, hall, or encounter that I didn't feel like repeating. That seems to have improved.

I've seen bouncing mammoths, I've had dragon skeletons fall on me from nowhere at the Whiterun gate, I was recently set upon by a falling basket.

In the latest version, audio is being frequently dropped from NPC speech.

Have you looked at the light and shadows from the fire pit in Breezehome?

Now they've released this Creation Kit, and it sounds like they're relying on people who've bought and played the game to fix the bugs for them. I suppose that's to be expected; the creation kit itself, supposedly the same tools they used making the game, throws a bunch of errors as a part of normal, expected, essential use.

I'd hope that at this point most new money is the smaller amounts, since he was only looking for $400K. $15 for partial access to the development process and early versions of the game, as well as the full game on release, sounds like a good deal.

Well, the video (there is one there) promises that at the very least, you get a 2PP documentary of the failure.

Yes. Yes, it was. This isn't it, but they'll be talking more about it when they meet at, IIRC, GDC. The tweet in that comic wasn't a joke.
