Death knocks on your door, and says...
"You have died, and you have to come with me now. But, before we go, you are permitted to have one last play of 3 arcade games of your choice."
so what would your choices be?
mine would be:
1. shinobi
2. moon patrol
3. crazy kong part II (i prefer the level order over donkey kong...)
(ok, so i could have just done a 'list your 3 fave games' thread, but what the hell )

I'm happy with Elsemi's model 2 emulator
I remember many hours invested in the Saturn port that wasn't too shabby either

Thinking strategically... If I knew it was coming, I would practice up on something that can be marathoned, say Missile Command. I believe world record territory on that is something like 48 hours. Three games of that and I buy myself almost a week. Maybe death will get bored and lose interest in that time.
If it's just the three games you'd like to play one last time before shuffling off, I'd go for:
1. Galaga
2. Rolling Thunder
3. Donkey Kong

Wouldn't the old Reaper instead be asking what three arcade games I wanted to play for the rest of eternity in heaven? Or hell?
Ahhh, bet that changes things, huh. I'd have to think about that for a while. (It would be easier for me to pick recordings of classical music for eternity than to pick arcade games for eternity.)

in that case, id go for tetris .. a tanks/worms style game, and an arcade version of chess... if it exists.. proabaly not
