I am sure there are lots of arcade collectors here, why not post the latest arcade PCB you bought With pics.
Here is what i got during december/january:
Strahl, i am almost always misspelling that name.
Street Fighter EX
Appoooh, another difficult name untested PCB.
Mighty Guy, a bit rare i think?
Gamshara, not as fun as i thought.
Kono TACO!, not sure about the name but the game is great, i bought the romboard only, you can swap the romboard from another Namco System 10 game to play it... like Gamshara Here is a youtube video i did showing the gameplay
4nin-uchi Mahjong Jantotsu, untested.

Would probably be a Triforce type 1. Haven't any games for it. The pic isn't my one, but just to demonstrate.

I just got a Locked 'n Loaded PCB for my "multi-gun" machine.
The gun inputs aren't well documented, so I'm having fun hooking this one up.

Nice
I just bought a Namco Classics Vol 1 - not arrived yet though
Last arrival, Hot Gimmick Mix Party - not strictly speaking a pcb, but arcade game nonetheless
I also bought a CPS2 pcb - can't remember which except that it's a 'G' PAL

Got some more yesterday
Strider Hiryu 2 and Choukou Senki Kikaioh (Tech Romancer) Kikaioh had a very good soundquality on the samples compared to the other capcom zn1/2 games i have.
Deroon Dero Dero, for the Tecmo System (i think there was only two games released for it)
"Angel Eyes" Rom-board for Tecmo System.

Ohh! Angel Eyes. When you get that board running could you also check and describe how the playfield scrolls under the fighters? It looks very odd in MAME and we can't figure out why.
If you will, then thanks in advance, and it would probably be better to have the description at MT than this forum. MT report here: http://www.mametesters.org/view.php?id=2699

A broken Lode Runner - The Dig Fight, which always goes into test mode, but is otherwise fine (since you can go from testmode into a given level or the level editor using a developer code). Should be a doddle to fix - otherwise I can always just hack the code.
Before that but still pretty recent: Puzz Loop, Uo Poko, Golden Axe.

here is my Raiden DX pcb bought in September 2011, since still does not work in mame... and an Arkanoid aftermarket acquired in November 2011.

Yes the floor is missing the "line scroll" on the PCB also so MAME is correct, i will update the mametesters post with an PCB recording so there is no doubt Tecmo system does not seem to be a powerful system?
I noticed it played the music in stereo in MAME... now i must find the pinout for the speaker connector.
Asasega: i always do OSV's when i can (if the game has a soundtest)

Here is an (unofficial) level editor for "Lode Runner - Teikoku Karano Dasshutsu" (LR4) i tried it a couple of years ago in MAME but never on the PCB. Lode Runner: the arcade version (Lodey)
I guess MAME devs are not happy with the fact a lot of "hacked" LR4 roms are spread

I was referring to Psikyo's "Lode Runner - The Dig Fight". Enter the code 5-0-8-2-0 in maintenance code and go to "Map Editor". I'm not convinced the emulation is all there (I think it made more sense on the PCB, looks garbled in MAME, maybe I'll fix it one day), of if it's supposed to be used on dev hardware and linked to a PC.

Ah, thanks for making a vid capture for it. =)
The hardware is pretty good actually, especially the sound. Though I wouldn't be surprised if the board doesn't support stereo (even if the soundchips do).

Got Street Fighter EX 2 (ZN-2), Bloody Roar (ZN-1) and Shienruy (ST-V).
I have measured the samplerate of the Qsound (the signal that goes to the DAC) and it is at 24khz... yes lower than SNES even

That's not *too* surprising - Qsound was a great improvement over the usual 2151/6295 combo, but Sega, Taito, and Namco all were doing better by 1993.

Now i got an working Super Chase PCB (the last one refused to start). It's the Japan version so i guess i should dump it :-)
Did some pics and a video using my capturecard, check them out here: Super Chase pics and video The capture card did not sync properly thats why the top of the screen look a bit deformed.
The jamma adapter i soldered does not have all controls wired up... well.. it can't be played using jamma anyway, i need a potentiometer for steering. I could at least look at the attract mode and also start a game, i poked bit with a wire on the acceleration pin to make the car move a bit at the end of the video

I like that game on the Dreamcast, for a fighting game it was Innovative.
I think emulation is what got me interested in buying the Dreamcast version, emulation of the first one in Zinc, IIRC.
I wish the first one was playable on the PSP, that would be nice.
Congrats on getting the game as well.

What is the PC board part like? I know it looks like a standard AT PC, but it's not any form factor I know of.
Does the ROM and JAMMA board connect to a PCI slot or something?

Gauntlet Dark Legacy. The Voodoo 2 is a CMC Orbit 3D card which I had laying around. I swapped it for the obsidian since the obby had overheated and thus this gave a cleaner and brighter image with no dark lies.

Aha, makes sense now. I guess that brown connector is a riser port of some description, considering that the main board has no graphics and the jamma has the voodoo chipset.

I miss the days of playing Gauntlet with friends. I'd hate to imagine how many quarters it would "eat" just to play through per player, let alone four players.

That's beauty of Gauntlet, you can't play through it, because there's no ending. Me and my sister once played MAME on a 1080p HD TV playing Gauntlet 2. We got to level 134 before realizing there was no end to the levels XP
Gauntlet Dark Legacy is good, but not as good as the 2Ds I think. The game often has bare sections and the levels can be too easy to get through, plus it's missing bits from Legacy too, such as the story cinematic in the attract and various other parts, but again, still a good game. Only recently hooked up 3&4 players, only, none of the run buttons are connected making it slightly more difficult.

They sometimes post boards for waaay under value. A few weeks ago they posted Batrider for under $50 no shit. By the time they returned my email it was already sold. I was thinking of picking up that Gunbarich with my next order but you are King Psikyo so..enjoy. It's a great game.
