It says permission denied. Are you running as administrator? Is there some other reason you may not have permission to build?

Administrator - yes. Permissions - yes. There is nothing different of my environment than any other compile. Oh well, I'll look into it more when I've got time tomorrow.
Edit - I just retried the make without changing or doing anything new or different. It picked up where it left off and completed and compiled just fine. I don't know - whatever.

I have CLRMAME do that to me once in a while when I try to launch it. Wait a second and try again and it works fine.

I had problems just applying the u5 diff for the MAME base code. It threw a number of permission errors on me and I had no idea why.
I restored the source files from 144 and reapplied all of the patches probably 8 times before it finally worked.
Weird things...

The start time has decreased very well and is faster audit. But all the same speed leaves much to be desired. Scroll through the list is slow.
