iOS Build Environment

I think he actually is talking about only install onto Jailbreak. Because I can't get the Wolf3D.app demo to install onto my iPod Touch. Maybe the files are outdated.

Make me wonder those comments are from himself.

"IMPORTANT: if you intend to distribute your application on the App Store, Apple will require you to sign it with your Apple Developer Program's digital ID before submission. You may nevertheless use it as is on any unlocked (jailbroken) device, and distribute it on other distribution networks such as the Cydia Store."

"Apps created with DragonFireSDK can be downloaded to your device for testing before being sent to the App Store.

Registered developers submit their Device ID, they receive a .mobileprovision file which allows their App to be installed."

In other words: unless your iPhone/iPad is jailbroken or you have a Developer App Store account, you won't be able to run homemade applications on your device.

I would if I didn't have 405 apps from iTunes already.

You can still use your apps if you jailbreak. It adds functionality, it doesn't take it away.

and you can still absolutely continue to use the apple store for new apps. Jailbreaking just lets you do lots of cool stuff that Apple doesn't want you to do and install things from the Cydia store (some of which are also paid apps, but many free ones too).

Won't work on my iPad 2 because of the iOS 5.0.1.
