There is a serious gap in music these days. My kids REFUSE to listen to that little SH*T Beiber because the PREFER all the music that I have made by real bands.

Not a huge fan of the song, but they did a great job with it.
I'm jealous, when I was that age I went to a small Catholic school, and the talent pool was just too small to have any hope of putting together a complete, functioning band like that. Even in high school it never really worked out, because you always had that one guy who was "just learning" but (s)he was in the band because you couldn't find anyone else to play bass or drums or whatever.

I like the singers voice. I listened to a few other songs they had up. Hopefully his voice makes it past puberty. His voice + some experience could be great.
As for my children. My wife has my daughters convinced that Aerosmith and Nine inch nails are 'boy bands' since my daughter came home from the vacation with her cousins saying she likes boy bands. And my youngest daughter currently likes Green Day... I couldn't keep owl city away from them though
