Stern Super Draw dip switches settings info *edit*

Recently got paper work for Stern's Super Draw poker.
What good timing now that I see someone selling a pcb at the moment.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/super-draw-stern...=item4cfcbaaf90
Take note that the two dip locations are at 8A and 9A on the pcb?
Unsure which dip is which though since there isn't a closeup photo of dips area on pcb, but it looks like Bank 1 is at 8A and Bank 2 is at 9A. The Super Draw operations guide has switches labeled as Bank 1 and Bank 2. Bank 2 settings is what is shown in this post.
Wait till a one page example of the Super Draw logic schematics is uploaded later to show how extremely small the schematics. Very hard to read.
2-28-12: dip switch settings attachment scan removed since it is now supported.

You could resize that scan to be about 1/100 the size and it still be just as useful. It's not art.

Heh. yep. The second page of dips is in better shape so it will be smaller when uploading that page. And the Super Draw schematics tiny font size....eesh. I am not sure about the schematics yet of how to get that so font size is readable.

Could've resized that too.
Somewhere around here we'll start a drag-out thread for ideal settings for black-and-white scanning/conversion, seems to be a hot topic lately.

For the DIPS, you don't need to use a scanner at all: that's what your keyboard is for. For the schematics... I assume that by "schematics" you mean something with diagrams, not just text. Maybe use image editing software to redraw the text... but that might be a lot of work. Hmmm...

Schematics with large clear text like the recently found capcom 1942 schems can be done at 300dpi. Schematics with small, tiny text labels on wires need to be done at 600dpi. Both should be done greyscale, or, if you can hand tune it properly, monochrome/b&w/"line art" (but tuning the threshhold for this correctly is a pain in the arse. I just do greyscale)

Or PNG it in 1-bit black and white.
