Why in the hell would they be doing that so close to a neighborhood? They should do that out in the middle of the desert.

They were on a firing range. The real question is, what kind of idiot puts a subdivision next to a firing range?

Well obviously whoever built the subdivision had to get it zoned for such. I'd say they weren't doing something right. Maybe a firing range is for guns and not experimental cannons.

They should have went out by Gatinho's house in BFE.

I read somewhere that they had a backstop of water-filled barrels, but the cannonball took a bad hop and missed it. I'd imagine whoever their on-site expert was will take the fall. It'd be a shame if it ends up killing the show, though.

They would have hit his brand new heat pump for sure.

Should at least have a big buffer of trees, or better yet mountains around a firing range.

LMAO Yep, for sure, or hit it in the truck while it was just being delivered.

That cannonball would be worth a packet on eBay.

If you can't stand to watch a cement truck get blown to tiny bits by C4...well....then there is just no pleasing you.

//yeah, that is ex-military getting startled at the shockwave from over a mile away...

Oh come on. Sure it's silly, and they pander to the "Go BOOM!" set a little too much, but it's entertaining.

Dammit, I can't find the clip, but it's already been done.

Oh! I enjoy it, really. It just pisses me off because their disclaimer isn't "we don't debunk myths, we only use it as an excuse for blowing up things for fun". And because of that every idiot on Internet believes everything these entertainers (notice I didn't say experts) do is true, absolute and fully tested.

The hosts fully admit in interviews that their show involves "some" science but it's mostly a show for entertainment. It should be part of the show's "don't try this at home" disclaimer they play at the beginning of each episode.

mountains around a firing range... sounds like where I took my first hunter's safety course. Fort Huachuca, Arizona! Of course it's a bit far from them and it's an Army base...

Just broke my personal record for number of consecutive days without dying!
