Assuming softlists won't get canned in the next official release and MESS reboots itself when a new cartridge or driver is loaded, what could stop MAME from selecting a BIOS in the same way a softlist cartridge is run (through GUI)?
Please note I'm not demanding anything. If I want to run a different BIOS (which rarely happens), I simply edit an INI file after checking the driver source to identify the BIOS as always. This just picked my curiosity recently and I wanted to know if there is answer or simply it hasn't been thought about yet.
