i had a mame made for me years ago. it hasn't worked in years. i would like to get it working again. i believe it needs a new computer and software. i also believe there was something wrong with the video card running the monitor that started the trouble.
ideally, i would like to pay someone to get it going. I'm in md and have a truck to deliver. I have gone down this road a nother time and got no takers. i am pretty competent and would consider doing it myself if someone could help if it comes down to it.
if you are interested or you know somebody, pm me. i can send some pics. thanks!

Does the PC itself boot up at all (e.g. with a normal PC monitor, keyboard etc)? If it doesn't even turn on, it could simply be that the power supply has burnt out or blown its fuse. Although, if it's a really old PC like a Pentium 3, it will definitely be better to put in a new system, MAME has also come a long way since the early 2000s.

Well, if you think the monitor is the prob, plug a normal pc monitor into the pc and see if the pc werks. If so, just leave the pc monitor plugged in.
Easy cheesy.
