MAMETesters Bugs Fixed
----------------------
- 04509: [Core] Analog controls are broken on keyboard when joystick
is enabled (Alex Jackson)
- 04394: [DIP/Input] All games with paddle inputs: IPT_PADDLE inputs
do not center properly when mapped to an analog joystick
(Alex Jackson)

Source Changes
--------------
fix listing of switches used by gambling games [kanikani]

Hooked up MC6845 to Laser Base [Angelo Salese]

Hooked up PIT to Laser Base [Angelo Salese, Tomasz Slanina]

Changed some of the default mappings for analog controls in order to
fix various input-fighting bugs (including, but not limited to,
MT#4394 and MT#4509). Reverted the u8 change to analog joystick

complicated for little benefit [Alex Jackson]

Improved game documentation to Naomi / Triforce / Chihiro HW [f205v]

New clones added

Just now I saw the addition of ironclad to the u8 release. Is it the Wii virtual console version, a bootleg or a real cart was found and dumped? Either way I appreciate it.

u9 came very quickly after u8, so I'm guessing it's much too soon for a Full release to happen.

Besides, why would you wanna stay indoors when you can dress up as something from an Arcade game and go Trick or Treating

What's happened to all the mame binaries? I wanted to try some games on 64-bit mame yet I cant see any downloads..

Did twisty have something against them being posted?

The last 3 interim releases were deleted here because the binaries supported Cave SH-3 games that they (Cave) didn't want MAME to emulate for the time being.

You'll have to use 0.143u6 or wait for the new release

TBH I think that you might aswell remove it temporarily from the next release as I highly doubt Cave would want anything else emulated that's theirs judging by their past record.

The cave stuff has already been removed from the source tree, so next release and future releases (unless something changes) won't have it in.

That's a dumb thing to say. Did you think they would remove it for u9 and put it back in in the next release?

No, he mistakenly thinks we should remove all Cave games regardless of hardware. Cave made it very clear that they only care about CV-1000 and they have been very happy with our cooperation in the past.

Since I do not know and am also curious, what Cave games use CV-1000?

Sune: I meant temporarily as in not just the next release but for releases after.

Belmont: I actually meant by my post is when will it be likely cave is gonna turn around and say that you have permision to emulate their hardware and release their games for free for anyone.

Bad wording as always

Is cave saying "we dont want you to emulate games x,y and z because we are still selling them/they are too new?" or is cave saying "we dont want you to emulate this hardware platform because we are still selling games on it?" (regardless of whether the games being emulated are new or old)

It's safe to say it's more the latter. It's a still-developed on platform and having emulation that allows new games to drop in isn't a good policy. The same was done with PinMAME with all the S.A.M. system games, which they still use for the newest tables. It's safe to say they (cave sh3) were added too soon.
