pc to arcade monitor hook up

I was wondering what was better.. Jpac Or the video card at
ultimarc.

I want to be able to use the original button and joystick also have the token or quarter machine working for that good feel.
will be using mamewah.

But im a little confused
I have a dynamo hs-5 with well gardner monitor with all the wireing

The J-Pac is for the controls and the AVGA is for the graphics - you'd need both.

Yup. The J-Pac handles the controls and physically connects the PC video to the monitor, but normal arcade monitors can't display PC video resolutions so you also need the ArcadeVGA.

Yes, but he can use soft15hz with a compatible video card. It's cheaper an has a better overall performance (at least if he wants to use modern/unmentionable arcadePC games).

+1. I used to be ArcadeVGA exclusive, but now I use Soft15Khz instead. Nearly every games comes up right away, a few had to be tweaked. I sync to monitor refresh (mame video option) and enable frameskipping and the result is perfect for scrolling games -- no tearing, looks as good as running the original PCB. Every once in a while it'll skip a frame due to the timing mismatch, but that's a small price to pay for very good emulation.
