I have yet to test brewing and enchanting, but looks interesting nonetheless. Makes me feel bad for playing this without paying, I haven't done it mostly for privacy and laziness purposes (to do procedures for making anonymous transactions). I think I'll definitely do it when Minecraft v1.0 arrives.
Unfortunately I get spoilers easily watching YouTube videos and consulting Minecraft wiki, however I'll take your word and I won't try it. I'll find out eventually.

I haven't seen a video on that particular item in the tweet, and I don't know where I'd look in the wiki for it without already knowing what it was. In fact, I can't find it on the wiki at all.

I use to spoil myself by looking into the Recent Changes section. If I see anything I don't know or is unusual (like "Sky Dimension"), then I end up clicking on it.
I now just watched the Yogscast and saw how potions work. I see the reason to understand Standard Galactic Alphabet now.

Yep, there it is. Well, looks like only remain dwarfs and witches from my previous comment. Some bats and sea monsters wouldn't be bad too, air and seas are lonelier.
