I've had this shirt for over a year...got it at Express or something if I remember...does it actually say anything or is it just "cool looking "asian" characters" for us whities?
I've never had a negative response while wearing it but for all I know it could say "I love to spoon with elephants" or something worse

勇気 は 買戻し を 提供 する
Courage (topic marker) repurchase? (object marker) (to provide) (to do conjugation)
Courage provides repurchase?
I think it reads "Courage provides redemption". If that's right it should be "勇気は買い戻しを提供する". Any relationship with Dexter series?

Thanks. It's got "honor, courage, loyalty, discipline, valor" in english printed on it so I always assumed that's what was also printed above but you never know. I've always read of tattoos that do not translate at all to what the wearer intended.

Holy crap, thats the truth.
My old partner from SC was Chinese... and people would show him tattoos all the time to see what they mean.
One dude thought he had "brave dragon" or something similar, and all it said was "American".

That's hilarious. Best practice is, if you don't know the language, you probably shouldn't get a tattoo in that language...I guess that should apply to me with buying clothes as well

old chinese proverb "He who fart in church get good grade."
|
I’m convinced Mario is a hobo.
He wakes up everyday in the same clothes, runs around in sewers, and collects coins for a living.
At the end of the day, he uses the coins to buy mushrooms
