Unlimited TNT, very fun. This was a super quick test, took about two minutes. Big-bada-boom.

Ha, I tried that with a resource hacker not too long ago when they made TNT a little less squirrelly.
Encountered my first Enderman... They're not quite a scary as I thought they'd be. At least the one I encountered wasn't super aggressive. I ended up getting blown up by a creeper while I was having a staring contest with him.

That's one of the ways they're broken, yes.

Holy crap... ocean biomes in 1.8 are *insane*, especially when you spawn in one. I've explored a fair bit beyond the edges of this map, and there's just nothing but more water and tiny, barren little islands.
I am enjoying the challenge of bootstrapping myself in survival mode with minimal resources, though.

The server is running, with a new area at the end of a kilometer-long nether tunnel. We are living on mountain peaks connected by wooden bridges.
We need to stay out of the abandoned mines and such for a bit though, as we get mega-lag any time someone dies and empties out their balls on the area. Doing so near a spawner breeds extreme frustration.
If you come, bring a bed.

Sweet, I'll have to come check it out.

Ugh, it's so awkward when that happens.

Even more awkward is sucking the balls back up.

I guess you could get someone on a multiplayer server to bury a bunch of TNT blocks for you and put pressure plate triggers on top. That would kind of be like Minesweeper.
In case anyone wants to know if they should try Minecraft or not:

Have seen Donkey Kong first level recreated in minecraft:

I'm sure someone out there could work out some randomization technique and build a replayable 10x10 minesweeper.
