Until you actually see the difference it makes on your own system you'll never believe it. (And I bought a cheap one.)
I had to update the drive's firmware and enable AHCI on my motherboard was but other than that setup was no different that doing a clean install on a platter drive. The results though, simply unreal. Seriously. OMG, this is the biggest speed boost I've seen in probably a decade. Quietest, too.
I have the funny feeling that before long this little guy is going in my laptop and I'm getting a big bastard for my main.
