DU Update: News & Fundraiser
#264541 - 09/12/11 03:59 PM

We recently received and dumped Candy Candy. It's a puzzle game where you move the board around in angles and let gravity drop the chips and when the same color chips line up, they disappear like in Tetris. It's not too bad but the difficulty level does seem to ramp right up quite quickly.

We also have won Tecmo Stackers and ESD's Deluxe 5 multigame with recent donations. They are on the way.

We need a bunch of donations to be able to bid on the Japanese version of Point Blank 3. There is one for auction that is most likely a System 11 or 12 version (the English one we have dumped is the System 10 version which is why it doesn't run yet, System 10 hasn't been fully emulated yet). I can't tell for sure the hardware type because it has a plastic case covering everything. It is super rare to see it sold outside of a cab. Brian has already pledged $100 out of pocket toward it and I can cover some as necessary myself depending on how donations go. I can't set an exact amount needed because it's an auction without a buy it now option. So please consider donating if you can afford to. There are plenty of other things to buy if there are donations left over.

So kind of like Gururin, or am I on the wrong tack?

Similar but you use the joystick to flop the table around instead of rotating it.
