fuck yeah, I've had the past week off. Had some awesome "Dad-time" with the kiddos but now it's back to the grind stone I guess. Not sure how frequently I can visit the bin quite yet but I'll be back in whatever free time I'll get.

I'm not sure if I should say 'good luck with the new job' or 'good job with the new luck'.

Today was my first day on the job and all day I just kept telling myself "so this is what it's like to work with adults"

Every thing I experienced today left me with such a positive impression, I can't believe I dealt with the unhappiness, stress, and depression for so long.

I feel like an intruder in this area of town. Strange for me to see everyone wearing expensive suits and parking such fancy cars at the local Chipotle. I'm dressed up in what I'd consider business dress, and I feel like a slob or something.

The women in the surrounding area are nice lookin too

Actually in the original Denver Tech Center area. Financial and law offices everywhere. Many posh restaurants too.

Funny part is I lived a stones throw from both areas in my time there.

Never really spent much time in the DTC though. Usually took the RC planes to the reservoir in my free time when I lived down in that area.

//I always found it amusing that they would build an RC airfield right next to a gun range...

One of my friends who was between jobs came to see me in my lunch break, and as we were walking to the restaurant, he joked, "I always call this area 'plastic surgery paradise' because of all the girls who obviously have rich parents." I started to answer, "Well there's one plastic surgery place on level 13 of the tower, and another one..." He cut me off with, "Really? I was thought I was just joking." Yeah, it can be weird finding your way in an up-market area.

Both are really noisy places that people would rather not be near, even if they want the facilities available.

Agreed, but if the good 'ol boys at the gun range can't keep from shooting up the stop signs on the way into the area what makes anyone think they won't go for a few moving targets?

//Colorado, while a beautiful place, is filled with danger.
