Any interest?

As you know, the last release was the last. However, I have received a number of hacks recently which are yet to be added/tested. Is there any interest in a new version with these hacks? No details available yet.

YES! I would love a new version of Misfit.I only recently got into Misfit MAME ( been into MAME for quite some time now,always knew about Misfit,but never used it) until about 6 months ago.It is a great build,and should be continued if you have ample time,that is.

Somewhere on Internet is floating "CD to AES/MVS" dump.
That "dump" will be easy playable in MisFitMAME.

Oh, yeah, the beta one, I tested it some time ago (12,7mb), but if I remember right, it was buggy as hell (I tested on neorageX, 'cause it was the only emulator that worked "out of the box" for this game at the time). I'll test it again anyway... maybe on Mess this time.

Last Hope CD Conversion is already in latest Misfits. You have to simply find the correct ROM set.

What is wrong with this game in MisFitMAME (too much gfx glitches) ?
A) dump is not complete (only ~ 30 MB ?!; lhcdb.zip = 13028KB)
B) emulation is not good enough
C) something else
Am using MisFitMAME 0.128B

I am starting to add some games from MiSFiT to the current source 0.145.
Done an easy game first mspacii and a few others at this stage I am not sure I would want to add them all lol
Will be time comsuming though....

It will be difficult because some games have drivers that need updated. Of course clones of games that are in MAME should be easy to add.

Yes that is true, a number of clones do not need drivers added
I did a small driver first to see how it went and it worked fine so far. which was MS. Pacman II, not fully tested but the game loads up fine...

I'm interested in porting MONACO GP to current MAME source. I know the Misfit source is ultra-outdated so I'm asking you if is doable without having too many headaches...

The gameplay in the driver is quite off of what it should be. If you're interested in improving the driver as well and making it closer to how it should play, let me know and I can help with some of the gameplay details.
