Anybody like the new Nintendo system controller.i think it's horrible(nt)

I’m convinced Mario is a hobo.
He wakes up everyday in the same clothes, runs around in sewers, and collects coins for a living.
At the end of the day, he uses the coins to buy mushrooms

Then again, I learned to game on a 2600 joystick, not a DS.
Keep in mind though, it IS Nintendo. I'll have to wait until I actually get some hands-on to make up my mind. They've made me feel foolish before.

I grew up with a pong paddle as a pacifier.But this ...I'm sorry Nintendo i don't know if i could take this one.It's too.... APPLE.

Yeah it looks Apple and terrible. Hopefully someone will make a good traditional gamepad controller for it and you can just have this fucking iPad laid down beside you or something...

I doubt it will be anything like that. It will feel like it looks. Look at the Wiimote. It looks like it will be a shitty gamepad and then you play it and it is. It sucks more dick than a porn star compared to my Saitek P2600.

Much like the DS, I think it's success will hinge on how well developers can make use of the second screen. I think it'll be trickier than the DS, because the DS put both screens more or less in your line of sight. This one, you'll have to look down for the second screen, which will be confusing and awkward if it's not done right.
The controller itself seems like a step backward from the Wii. I thought the Wii controllers succeeded at being simple and approachable, while being reasonably versatile at the same time. The new one seems bulky and kind of limited. Are you really going to wave it around like a Wiimote?
Also, Wii U? Really? I mean, we got used to "Wii" and it doesn't seem so stupid anymore, but Wii U? I predict the next one will be called, "Ekke Ekke Ekke Ekke Ptangya Ziiinnggggggg Ni!"

A woman weighing herself with secrecy is the worst selling point I've ever seen for a video game system. I can't believe video game can be even written into the same sentence. I don't want all that stuff on a controller and having someone come in a room wanting tv... I couldn't care less about this stuff. A couple of the things near the end are cool - the throwing stars for example, but it's cool from using the tablet stuff which could have been made separate from a gamepad. A lot of it is more like impressive technology but not really what I'm dying to play. Just because something about a video game is traditional doesn't make it bad, and Nintendo has lost hold of this. I still want it, but I hope I can get a gamepad for it that actually feels good in my hands and not like something a woman would want to weigh herself on or scroll through recipes with.

Women aren't the only ones who cook, you know. I once made a wicked vegan pad thai recipe. There's a video

Unfortunately, I think this is the direction Nintendo will be going for a while now. While SONY and Microsoft spent a fortune ripping at each other like wild dogs for the hardcore market, Nintendo made a massive pile of cash selling what is essentially a retooled Gamecube to soccer moms and retirement homes. As long as the casual market is lucrative, they're not going to be in a hurry to jump back in the fight for "real" gamers.

Yeah their little "back to the core gamers" line, whatever it was, was just plain BS. The core soccer moms however can't wait to weigh themselves in HD.

my impression (but I could be wrong) is that in general you can only use one of these controllers combined with as many wii controllers as you want...
while it could be impossible due to limitations in the amount of data the console can send, I think using 2 or more new controllers to play multiplayer games without splitting the tv screen (or even without turning on the tv at all) would be really amazing...
with only one of them available, it is a bit less exciting at my eyes. but I will wait until I can try it

Since you brought up your homosexuality, I guess I should mention that "casual gamer" is a vaginal term that never existed before the Wii, which is the most pussified home console ever made by an anal stretch of about 10 miles. Getting soccer moms into video game consoles might have been impressive but it wasn't cool.
