So, is this new feature somehow going to give us (at least the opportunity for) sparklies during level warps in Tempest?

Aren't those actually a base rendering feature rather than a CRT artifact?

Well, I wouldn't know. But I might guess so. Which would likely mean the answer to my question is no? Cos, I tell ya, that's just a deal-breaker in playing Tempest on current MAME. I love me the sparklies!
