Why are there a bunch of quiz game roms on the internet that are not in MAME? The hardware for some of them is already emulated.

I'm not sure we're talking about the same stuff - but if you mean the ItBox,Paragon and IN:DE Roms, they are in fact fairly decent spec PCs running Windows 98 or 2000, with dongles and custom servers to handle coin up. The fact some of them share names and details with older titles is just because there are no original ideas in that industry any more. They're also still earning in many locations, not with the same questions, but still earning nevertheless.
If this isn't what you're talking about, PM me - if I knew precisely what you were meaning, I may be able to do something about it.
